举国欢庆！恭贺祖国70岁生日！（特辑二）
习近平在庆祝祖国70周年的盛典上说：“中华人民共和国的成立彻底改变（completely changes）了中国的命运（China’s fate）；彻底改变了近代以来（since the advent of modern times）100多年来中国积贫积弱（being poor and weak）、任人欺凌（being bullied and humiliated）的悲惨命运（miserable fate）。”
70年前的今天，毛泽东同志（Comrade）在这里向世界庄严宣告（solemnly declared）中华人民共和国成立，中国人民从此站起来了（the Chinese people had stood up）。中华民族（The Chinese nation）从此踏上了征程，在实现中华民族伟大复兴的道路上（on the path of realizing natonal rejuvenation），没有任何力量可以阻挡中国人民、中华民族前进的步伐（No force can stop Chinese people, nation from marching forward），任何力量都不能动摇中国的地位（No force can ever shake the status of China）。
习近平表示，70年来，中国各族人民团结奋斗（concerted efforts）、艰苦斗争（arduous struggle），取得了举世瞩目的伟大成就（make great achievements that amaze the world）。
