团结起来，为民族复兴而奋斗！
2019年9月12日，周四，国家主席(President)习近平在视察(inspect)位于北京的革命根据地(revolutionary base)时，呼吁(call on)全党全国(the whole Party and nation)团结(unite)起来为中华民族的复兴(the national rejuvenation)而奋斗(strive)。中共中央总书记(general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee)、中央军委主席(chairman of the Central Military Commission)习近平在参观北京西郊香山(Fragrant Hills)时发表(deliver)了重要的讲话(important speech)。
香山，1949年3月，中共中央总部(the CPC Central Committee )设在香山。当年，毛泽东主席住在香山的双清别墅，在那里他指挥了著名的“渡江战役”(crossing the Yangtze River)，取得解放战争(the War of Liberation)的胜利，使得国民党政权(the Kuomintang regime)瓦解(the collapse of)，赢得新民主主义革命的胜利，在中国共产党史和中华人民共和国史上有着重要的地位。
习近平参观了双清别墅与其他革命性地标(other revolutionary landmarks)，观看了《为新中国奠基》主题展览(exhibition)。他回顾(recall)了中国共产党带领中国人民取得胜利的峥嵘岁月，缅怀了包括毛泽东在内革命先辈的光荣事迹(the glory of the elder generation of revolutionaries)。
习近平说，要继承(inherit)和发扬(build)革命先辈的革命精神，加强中国特色社会主义道路自信、理论自信、制度自信、和文化自信(to strengthen confidence in the path,theory,system,and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics)。习近平呼吁全党全国勇于、敢于与艰难险阻作斗争，以推动中国向前发展(to push forward progress of China)；敦促与人民群众保持亲密的联系(keep close relations with)，始终把人民对美好生活的向往作为奋斗目标（regard the people’s aspiration for a better life as the goal）；继承和发扬革命先辈谦虚、谨慎、节俭(modesty,prudence and frugality)的优良品质，戒骄戒躁(not arrogance or rashness)。
历史证明，中国共产党和中国人民有能力打破旧世界、建设新世界，中国的未来充满希望(History has proved that the CPC and the Chinese people are capable of both breaking an old world and building a new world, the future of China is very promising)。
